Discipline

Body contouring

Duration

12 months

A gradual, non-surgical programme that restored core tone and skin quality after two pregnancies.

01

The challenge

The patient came to us eighteen months after her second child with a moderate abdominal separation, loose skin below the navel and a stubborn deposit across the flanks that had not responded to training or diet.

She was still breastfeeding at the first consultation and wanted nothing surgical while her family was young. That set the order of everything: medical clearance first, treatment second, and no step that required a general anaesthetic.

02

The approach

We restored function before we contoured. Three phases across twelve months, each
one timed around her recovery rather than our schedule.

1

Rebuild

Twelve weeks of guided pelvic floor and core rehabilitation with a women’s health physio.

2

Reduce

Two cooling cycles to the flanks, spaced three months apart to let each result develop.

3

Tighten

Radiofrequency skin tightening below the navel, four sessions in the final quarter.

03

The result

Measured against standardised imaging at month twelve, waist circumference
reduced by seven centimetres and the separation narrowed to a normal range.
No surgery was required.

Staged over

Days of downtime

I wanted my body to feel like mine again, not like someone else’s idea of perfect.
